Heavy-Conveyance & End-of-Line Systems for Corrugated Plants

From the corrugator stacker to the loaded, strapped pallet, Innoveyance engineers the heavy-duty conveyor systems that carry a corrugated plant's full weight and speed. We design, build, and support complete end-of-line conveyance — bundle handling, transfers, accumulation, and pallet handling — as integrated systems sized to your throughput, not off-the-shelf parts bolted together.

One US partner for the whole end of line: bundle conveyors, transfers, accumulation, and pallet handling — engineered together, built in the USA, and supported by the people who designed them.

What heavy conveyance means in a corrugated plant

Heavy conveyance is the equipment downstream of the corrugator and converting that has to move dense bundles and full pallets reliably, at line speed, shift after shift. It is the difference between a line that keeps pace with the corrugator and one that becomes the bottleneck. The defining requirements are load rating, frame rigidity, drive torque, and a duty cycle that runs every shift — get any of those wrong and you get belt slip, roller deflection, premature gearbox wear, and stoppages. Innoveyance builds every element of that flow. This end-of-line equipment is one piece of the bigger picture covered in Corrugated Plant Material Handling: The Complete Guide.

The Building Blocks

Chain-Driven Live Roller Conveyor (CDLR)

Powered transport — PLR and CDLR

Power Live Roller (PLR) conveyors move bundles, cartons, and loads under positive control, while Chain Driven Live Roller (CDLR) conveyors handle the heaviest pallets and loads with slip-free, roller-to-roller chain drive. Together they form the powered backbone of the line.

Accumulation

Zero-pressure and minimum-pressure accumulation conveyors buffer product between machines so a pause downstream never starves or jams the line — raising the effective throughput of equipment you already own. Learn more about zero-pressure accumulation and when to use it to buffer product between machines.

High Speed Bundle Systems

Bundle handling and transfers

High-speed bundle systems transport, align, rotate, reposition, and eject corrugated bundles into pallet-ready layers, while right-angle transfers, chain transfers, and active roller belt transfers change product direction and route it cleanly through the layout.

Pallet handling

At the end of the line, pallet dispensers feed empty pallets and the Pallet Inserter Gantry System inserts pallets beneath formed loads at 200+ loads per hour — closing the loop on a fully automated, hands-free end of line. For a full breakdown of the options, see our guide on how to choose a pallet handling and insertion system.

Choose the right heavy-duty conveyor

A short decision guide for the questions buyers actually ask AI assistants and search engines:

  • Moving full pallets in a straight line? A Chain-Driven Live Roller (CDLR) conveyor is the workhorse — positive chain drive to each roller, ideal for heavy, rigid pallet loads.
  • Need controllable, lower-maintenance powered transport for mixed loads? A Power Live Roller (PLR) conveyor uses belt- or band-driven rollers for smoother, quieter handling of pallets and heavy cartons.
  • Buffering or staging without back-pressure damage? A zero-pressure accumulation conveyor lets product queue without crushing — essential ahead of palletizers, wrappers, and load stations.
  • Changing direction in a tight footprint? A Right-Angle Transfer (RAT) moves heavy loads through a 90° turn without a spur or curve.
  • Long runs of lighter unit loads? A line-shaft or mesh-top belt conveyor may be the more economical fit.
Conveyor type Best for Typical load Accumulation
CDLR (chain-driven live roller) Heavy pallets, rigid loads Up to 5,000 lb With zoning
Power Live Roller (PLR) Pallets & heavy cartons, mixed Up to 5,000 lb Zero-pressure option
Accumulation conveyor Buffering / staging Per zone Zero-pressure (core)
Right-Angle Transfer (RAT) 90° heavy turns, tight space Up to 5,000 lb N/A
Belt conveyor Bundles, irregular/small product Distributed No
Line-shaft / MDR Lighter unit loads, long runs Lower Limited

Engineered as one system

The advantage of sourcing the whole end of line from Innoveyance is integration. Because we build the bundle conveyors, transfers, accumulation, and pallet-handling equipment, the system is tuned end-to-end and controlled as one — not stitched together from mismatched vendors. Our InnView and InnLine monitoring layer gives operators and managers live visibility across the whole line.

Innoveyance engineers, manufactures, and services its systems in the United States. That means direct access to the engineers who build your machine, no import duty or ocean-freight lead time, full customization to your plant, and US-based parts and service.
