Non-Power Roller Conveyor (NP)

Non-Power Roller Conveyor (NP)

Innoveyance non-power (gravity) roller conveyors move product without a drive — using a slight decline or a manual push — for simple, economical transport, staging, and hand-load stations. When powered transport isn’t required, a gravity roller conveyor is the most cost-effective way to keep product moving.

Simple, economical material transport

With no motors or controls, gravity roller conveyors are inexpensive, reliable, and easy to reconfigure. They are ideal for short transports, accumulation lanes, pack-out and inspection stations, and feeding or discharging powered lines.

Built tougher than commodity gravity conveyor

Innoveyance gravity conveyors use heavier frames and better bearings than off-the-shelf catalog rollers, so they hold up to corrugated and industrial loads instead of warehouse-light duty. Roller diameter, centers, and frame are matched to your product weight.

Pairs with powered lines

Gravity sections integrate with Innoveyance PLR and CDLR powered conveyors to balance cost and control across a layout. Every system is engineered, built, and supported in the United States, so lead times, customization, and service stay close to your plant — not an ocean away.

Category:

Non-Power (gravity) roller conveyors move goods using gravity rather than an external power source, running product along an inclined or declined surface. Simple and efficient, they are a cost-effective, reliable way to transport packages, cartons, and larger items with minimal manual effort, and are used across manufacturing plants and distribution centers.

Features

  • Construction: Available in 3ʺ and 4ʺ structural steel channel. Side frames come in standard 10-ft. lengths (other lengths on request), each section with three welded cross members.
  • Height: 12ʺ floor-to-top-of-roller standard (other heights on request); roller height 1/2ʺ above side frames.
  • Rollers: 2-1/2ʺ diameter x 11 gauge, available in 5/8ʺ and 11/16ʺ hex shaft, spring-loaded; 750 lbs. per roller.
  • Support Legs: 5 ft. on center, 3ʺ structural steel channel.
  • Bearings: Hardened steel raceways, broached inner race, 11 – 3/8ʺ dia. hardened steel balls, pressed-steel shell with Teflon seals, high-temperature waterproof lubricant; outer seal traps foreign matter to prevent entry into the bearing.

FAQs

Q: What is a non-power (gravity) roller conveyor?

A: It is a roller conveyor with no drive. Product moves on a slight decline or by manual push, making it the most economical option for transport, staging, and accumulation where powered control isn't required.

Q: When should I use gravity instead of a powered roller conveyor?

A: Use gravity for short runs, hand-load stations, staging, and low-throughput accumulation. Use a powered roller conveyor (PLR or CDLR) when you need controlled speed, level/incline runs, or heavy automated pallet handling.

Q: Is it built in the USA?

A: Yes. Innoveyance engineers, manufactures, and services its non-power roller conveyors in the United States, with heavier construction than typical catalog gravity conveyor.
